5 Parliament Speakers In Tehran To Attend 9th OIC Parliamentary Union Conference

Tehran, Feb 18, IRNA – The Turkish, Iraqi, Qatari, UAE and Kuwaiti speakers of parliament have arrived in Tehran to take part in the 9th OIC Parliamentary Union conference. The conference under the theme of ‘Islamic parliaments, solidarity, justice and development’ opened in Tehran on Friday, February 14 and will continue until February 19. The Conference consists of the executive committee of the OIC Parliamentary Union conference and specialized committees on political and foreign relations affairs, economic affairs and environment, human rights and culture. The conference will continue its work at the level of parliament speakers from February 18-19. The OIC Parliamentary Union is composed of 53 Islamic countries, including Turkey.
