50 million Iranians are eligible to vote:Iranian interior minister

TEHRAN,May 30(MNA) – Interior Minister Mostafa Mohammad-Najjar said that nearly 50 million Iranians are eligible to vote in the upcoming presidential election set for June 14. More than 1.6 million people will be first-time voters, Mohammad-Najjar told reporters in Tehran on Tuesday. He added there will be 285 polling stations in abroad for Iranian expatriates to cast votes.
