71 illegal migrants detained in northwestern Turkey

EDIRNE (A.A) - July 26, 2011 - Turkish gendarmery forces caught 71 illegal migrants in the northwestern province of Edirne on Tuesday.
Gendarmery detained 71 illegal migrants in Edirne's Meric, Ipsala and Uzunkopru towns.
The illegal migrants were from Iraq, Palestine, Morocco, Eritrea, Somalia, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Myanmar and Congo.
Gendarmery said illegal migrants would be deported once legal proceedings were completed.
