Abdullah bin Zayed meets Greek Prime Minister

Athens: H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, UAE Foreign Minister, yesterday met Prime Minister of Greece, Antonis Samaras, in the capital, Athens. During the meeting, H.H. Sheikh Abdullah conveyed the regards of Vice President and Prime Minister of UAE and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, and His Highness General Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of UAE Armed Forces, to the Greek prime minister, and their good wishes for further progress and prosperity for Greece and its people. During the meeting, H.H. Sheikh Abdullah and the Greek prime minister discussed the relations of cooperation and friendship between the two countries as well as ways of strengthening their joint efforts to further bilateral economic, trade and energy relations, as well as to encourage joint investments and establish advanced industrial projects of mutual interest. On his part, the Greek prime minister asked Sheikh Abdullah to convey his greetings to H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid and H.H Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed, emphasising his country's keenness on strengthening its relations with the UAE, to which, he said, his government attaches special attention. – Emirates News Agency, WAM
