Ahmadinejad congratulates new Chinese president

TEHRAN,March 16(MNA) – Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad sent a letter to Xi Jinping, congratulating him on his election as the new president of the People's Republic of China. In his letter on Thursday, Ahmadinejad expressed hope that friendly relations between Iran and China would be expanded in line with efforts to promote the interests of the two countries and would help improve global peace and security.
