Ahmadinejad To Italian Envoy : Dialog Based On Justice, Key To Resolve Global Problems

Tehran, Feb 25, IRNA – President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said on Sunday that dialog based on justice is the key to resolving global issues. The President made the remarks in a meeting with the new Italian Ambassador to Tehran, Luca Giansanti. President Ahmadinejad said that the international community has undergone a major change and the world nations are in dire need of justice, respect and peace. The president said nations prosperity, peace and permanent tranquility would be available in light of peace and justice in the world. Sufferings of humanity will never be resolved through military aggression but they need a sound resolution based on dialogue, justice and respect. Peoples should not show enmity towards each other as it is not possible to administer the international community through enmity and hostility, said the Iranian president. There are a few people in the world who seek to promote enmity and conflicts to guarantee their interests, he said adding that the human society has undergone dramatic change and justice and affection will wash away existing hegemony and enmity. Iran-Italy ties are deep-rooted, said the president, calling for expansion of all-out relations between both sides. Iran sees no limits for broadening ties and cooperation with Italy, he said. The new Italian ambassador submitted his credentials to President Ahmadinejad and said all people in the world should spare no efforts to establish peace, tranquility and friendship and the role of the Islamic Republic of Iran to this end is very significant. Referring to Iranˈs economic development and progress in various fields such as urbanization and social development, he called for expansion of trade and industrial cooperation with Tehran./end
