Alexander Lukashenko: Over the past years, Belarus-Azerbaijan relations have reached the highest level of sustainable and strategic partnership

Baku, June 30, AZERTAC President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko has hailed the development of his country`s relations with Azerbaijan as he addressed a letter to his Azerbaijani counterpart Ilham Aliyev on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries. “Over the past years, Belarus-Azerbaijan relations have reached the highest level of sustainable and strategic partnership. The two countries enjoy fruitful interaction in multilateral formats and show solidarity on key international issues,” the Belarus leader said in his message. “A solid economic foundation has been laid and a number of projects are being implemented in the industrial sector through joint efforts. I am convinced that the relationship between our countries, which is based on the traditions of trust, will continue to develop dynamically to the benefit of the Belarus and Azerbaijani people,” Alexander Lukashenko said.
