Amano: IAEA Ready To Settle Iranˈs Nuclear Dossier

Moscow, May 19, IRNA – Director General of International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Yukiya Amano said the agency stands ready to settle Iranˈs nuclear dossier. Amano, speaking with Itar-Tass News Agency on Saturday, said that Iranˈs nuclear issue can be settled through diplomatic channels and the agency is ready for this. He added that this is a complicated issue with a long history, adding that all countries, including Iran, have right to develop nuclear energy for peaceful goals. Amano continued that Iran should clearly declare its nuclear potential and the agency will consider the situation to make sure that the nuclear materials are being used just for peaceful goals. He concluded that IAEA continues its nenegotiation with Iran and hopes to settle Iranˈs nuclear dossier./end
