AMBASSADOR TO CROATIA PRESENTS CREDENTIALS

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The Ambassador of Mongolia to the Republic of Croatia Mr G.Batjargal Wednesday presented his diplomatic credentials to Mr Ivo Josipovic, the President of the country. At the meeting that ran after the presentation, the Ambassador conveyed a greeting of the Mongolian President to Mr Josipovic. He congratulated Croatia on becoming a member of the European Union (EU) in 2013, and expressed a satisfaction with opening of a great opportunity to develop the bilateral relations in frames of the Mongolia’s “Third Neighbourhood” policy. Following the meeting, the Ambassador met with Ms Vesna Pusic, the Croatia’s First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign and European Affairs; and Ms Dubravka Markovic, Assistant Foreign Minister, discussing the Mongolia-Croatia relations, regional and international issues. Since the establishment of the diplomatic relations, the two countries have been keeping their friendly relations, the sides noted, and highlighted mutual visits of the countries have significantly contributed to the political ties. The Croatian Minister said his country wants to maintain the tradition of supporting each other within the UN and other international organizations, and to forward the economic relations.
