AP deputy chief had no meeting with MNA director in Moscow

TEHRAN, July 12 (MNA) – The Associated Press deputy chief had no meeting or dialogue with the Mehr News Agency managing director Reza Moqadasi in Moscow last week. The AP deputy chief and Moqadasi only had a conversation on the sidelines of the World Media Summit in Moscow on Thursday. What was reported about the conversation was only based on the MNA reporter’s notes. The reporter claimed that the AP official, in a meeting with Moqadasi, had said that Iran has right to nuclear technology for peaceful purposes and that more negotiations were needed to tackle distrust between Iran and the West.
