Appraisal of anti-corruption actions discussed
Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ A meeting ran Wednesday at the State House to present results of an appraisal of actions done in 2014 against corruption among organizations that report their works to parliament and other organizations.
The Corruption Combating Agency (CCA) gave the appraisal of some 124 organizations including Ministries, agencies, state-run organizations and the bodies which give reports to parliament.
At the meeting, a head of the CCA’s section on corruption prevention and education B.Bat-Otgon made a presentation about methods of giving anti-corruption appraisal over state organizations. He underlined an importance of this appraisal in ensuring the implementation of anti-corruption laws, encouraging the justice of state servants, supporting the encouragement and initiatives of combating corruption, determining and propagandizing the best experiences of state organizations.
A report of the CCA’s appraisal was delivered by A.Zorigtbaatar, an expert from the “Best solution” NGO. In addition, a head of the Monitoring Section at the Parliamentary Office L.Enkhtuya delivered a report on a brief conclusion of the 2013-2014 actions against corruption in the bodies at parliament. The participants exchanged views on the appraisal of activities against corruption and various actions combating corruption.
