Arabic-Turkish Journalists Society established in Cairo

CAIRO (A.A) - March 4, 2012 - A group of Turkish and Arabic journalists established the Arabic-Turkish Journalists Society in Egyptian capital of Cairo on Sunday. The society was established with the aim of promoting media relations between Turkey and the Arab countries. Speaking at a reception to mark the establishment of the new society in Cairo, chairperson of the society Mujip Rusti said that they wanted to contribute to relations between Turkey and the Arab world. The reception at Cairo's Four Seasons Hotel was attended by the Turkish Ambassador in Cairo Huseyin Avni Botsali as well as by the Egyptian Ambassador in Ankara Abdurrahman Selahaddin. As its first activity, the society will take a large group of Arab journalists to Turkey.
