Assistant to Azerbaijani President makes Twitter post on his phone call with US National Security Advisor

Baku, December 23, AZERTAC Assistant to the President of Azerbaijan, Head of Foreign Policy Affairs Department of the Presidential Administration Hikmat Hajiyev has made a post on his official Twitter account on his telephone conversation with National Security Adviser to the President of the United States Jake Sullivan. “Today I had telephone call with National Security Adviser to the President of the United States Jake Sullivan. We reviewed bilateral ties, regional security issues, normalisation and peace treaty talks between Azerbaijan-Armenia. I expressed Azerbaijan's resolve to move forward regional peace agenda,” the Presidential assistant said. “I conveyed legitimate concerns of Azerbaijani civil society protesting peacefully at intersection of Lachin-Khankandi road on illicit mineral deposit exploitation and ensuing ecological damages. Alleged claims of Armenia on "blockade" is groundless, futile attempt of black propaganda,” Hajiyev tweeted.
