Azerbaijan, NATO discuss cooperation

Baku, May 31, AZERTAC Azerbaijan’s Defense Minister, Colonel General Zakir Hasanov has met Chief of Staff of NATO Allied Land Command Major General Erhan Uzun. The sides discussed Azerbaijan-NATO cooperation, Azerbaijan's contribution to international peacekeeping operations, security issues, military-political processes in the region. Major General Erhan Uzun praised coordination efforts of the Azerbaijan Armed Forces with NATO and partner nations. He also stressed Azerbaijan’s contribution to restoration of international peace and security.
