Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan discuss development of women entrepreneurship

Baku, April 24, AZERTAC Azerbaijani deputy Prime Minister Ali Ahmadov and his Uzbek counterpart Tanzila Narbayeva have discussed development of women entrepreneurship. Ahmadov provided an insight into Azerbaijani women`s participation in the socio-political life of the country. He said that ensuring gender equality is among key priorities for the Azerbaijani government. Ahmadov said the international conference “Development of women entrepreneurship: problems and prospects” will play an essential role in increasing women`s role in economic sphere. He hailed Tanzila Narbayeva’s participation in the conference. Ahmadov also expressed his confidence that the Uzbek deputy Prime Minister`s visit will contribute to the strengthening of bilateral ties between the two countries.
