Azerbaijan`s first lady Mehriban Aliyeva meets with Cannes Mayor

Cannes, July 10 (AzerTAc). Azerbaijan`s first lady, president of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Mehriban Aliyeva has met with Cannes Mayor David Lisnard. Mr. Lisnard said Azerbaijan had organized high-profile events in Cannes for two years already, saying this time sport was the main focus of attention. First lady Mehriban Aliyeva said she was happy to present Azerbaijan`s cultural values in Cannes. She said this year`s program features mainly sports events, adding Baku will host the inaugural European Games in 2015. The discussed the implementation of joint projects.
