Belgium offers to give asylum to MKO: report

TEHRAN,March 5(MNA) – An anonymous source close to the Iraqi Foreign Ministry has told the Iraqi Ashraf News that Belgium has offered to give asylum to members of the Mojahedin-e Khalq Organization (MKO) after their relocation from Iraq, ISNA reported on Sunday. The MKO, an Iranian armed exile group, has carried out a series of bombings and assassinations against Iran and fought alongside Saddam Hussein’s forces against Iran in the 1980s.
