Book by AZERTAC Chairman of Board “News production: Standards and new approaches” published in Turkey

A book by AZERTAC Chairman of the Board, OANA President Aslan Aslanov titled “News production: Standards and new approaches” has been published in Turkish in Ankara.
The editor of the publication is dean of the journalism faculty at Ankara Haji Bayram Veli University Yagub Omeroglu. The book was published under the scientific editorship of professor Zakir Avshar.
In his review, Professor Zakir Avshar emphasizes that the book, which contains experience and scientific knowledge, addresses the importance of news agencies as well as meeting the information needs of people in the world and in Azerbaijan. AZERTAC Chairman of the Board Aslan Aslanov highlights the importance of new media and online news in the digital world, saying that the road to success in this field, along with theoretical knowledge, lies in practical experience and the use of modern technologies, as well as shares his experience with readers, especially young journalists.
“Based on the theory of journalism and the author's many years of experience, the book also provides analysis of the creation of information system in Azerbaijan, the role of news agencies in political and public life, as well as the current problems of modern journalism. I believe this book will be used as a textbook in the journalism faculties at Turkish universities,” Zakir Avshar says.
The first chapter of the book, entitled "News agencies of Azerbaijan", provides a detailed analysis of the main directions of the state information policy, ensuring freedom of speech and press, creation of national media system after the restoration of Azerbaijan's state independence.
The publication also provides detailed information on international media organizations, highlighting the AZERTAC's path from its membership in these organizations to representation in their governing bodies.
The book is presented to the audience by "Bengü" publication brand, which covers the entire Turkic world. According to Professor Zakir Avshar, the book will be a valuable source of information for creative people, especially journalists and professionals in this field.
