Cabinet meeting in brief

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The cabinet Saturday decided to consult with a parliamentary Standing committee an issue of joining the Protocol to Eliminate Illicit Trade in Tobacco Products at WHO Framework Convention on Tobacco Control (WHO FCTC), and of authorizing the officials to sign it. - The cabinet also discussed results of the PM 's official visit to Japan and ordered L.Bold, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, to submit them to the National Security Council (NSC). - The cabinet backed in principle the draft 5th national report on implementation of the 2011-2012 Millennium Development Goals of Mongolia. It will be presented to parliament. - It was considered as necessity to sign the Optional Protocol to the Convention on the Rights of the Child on a communications procedure (OPIC). This matter will be consulted with a related Standing committee of parliament.
