Chairman Ibrahim Turkman: President Ilham Aliyev`s declaring 2017 year “A year of Islamic Solidarity” is historical decision

Tehran, August 8, AZERTAC President Ilham Aliyev`s declaring 2017 year “A year of Islamic Solidarity” is a historical decision, said Chairman of the Islamic Culture and Relations of Iran Ibrahim Turkman as he met Chairman of the Caucasus Muslims Office Sheikhulislam Allahshukur Pashazade. Ibrahim Turkman praised development of relations between the two countries. He said Azerbaijan and Iran share same values. Sheikhulislam Allahshukur Pashazade thanked the Iranian side for support to hold a joint conference on Islamic solidarity and Iranian-Azerbaijani friendship. Chairman of the State Committee for Work with Religious Organizations Mubariz Gurbanli, MPs Eldar Ibrahimov, Hikmat Mammadov, Azerbaijan`s Ambassadors to Russia and Iran Polad Bulbuloglu and Bunyad Huseynov were also present at the meeting.
