China Attaches Importance To Ahmadinejad's Visit

Beijing, June 5, IRNA – A Chinese official said here on Tuesday that his country attaches importance to the upcoming visit of Iran's President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad to his country. Chinese vice-chairman for Development Council of Beijing International Trade Ni Yue Gang told IRNA that Ahmadinejad's trip to China would strengthen Tehran-Beijing relations in all fields. He said China is against the West's unilateral sanctions on Iran. President Ahmadinejad is to arrive in Beijing tonight at the invitation of his Chinese counterpart Hu Jintao to attend the 12th Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) summit meeting to be held on June 6-7.
