Ch.Saikhanbileg PM gives interview to NHK

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The Prime Minister of Mongolia Ch.Saikhanbileg Wednesday gave an interview to correspondents of the Japan’s NHK TV channel, talking about the 25th anniversary of the first democratic elections of Mongolia and the Mongolia-Japan relations. In his interview, the Premier said that only Mongolia continued in Asia the democratic revolution which stated from East European countries after the fall of Berlin Wall in 1989. “Protesting the totalitarianism, Mongolian people managed to make the democratic revolution without bloody clashes. As results of the democratic revolution, Mongolia made basis of the democratic elections with participation of multiple political parties in 1990,” the Premier said. Regarding the Mongolia-Japan relations, the Premier said the bilateral relations have been intensively developing. He emphasized the Mongolia-Japan Economic Partnership Agreement (EPA) will significantly contribute to the bilateral economic ties, and hoped the two countries will gain achievements in the mutual trust of people and in the cooperation in culture, humanity and other areas.
