Committee chairman receives Czech delegation
Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The Chairman of the parliamentary Standing Committee on state structure A.Bakei Wednesday received a visiting delegation headed by Ms Alena Gayaduskova, the Vice President of the Czech parliament's Senate.
The latter thanked the Chairman for receiving them and noted that the 60th anniversary of diplomatic relationship and the fifth anniversary of the geological cooperation between the countries have been celebrated successfully,"and we want to strengthen this traditional relationship further".
She also said they are willing to re-shape ongoing projects and programs that currently are in a form of development collaboration.
Accompanying her senate member Mr Tesarjik said their side will support student exchange programs that include not only summer exchange but also short trainings for specialists, with aims to share experiences and to improve Mongolian students' Czech language that has been studied at National University of Mongolia (NUM) since 1994.
"We also would be happy to fully back these kinds of activities that may include an establishment of a student exchange agreement between the countries", he said and asked the chairman to submit this proposal to Mongolian Minister for Education and to get a support from the State Great Khural.
Mr Bakei acknowledged the guests' above request and said that he would explore cooperation options on agriculture and investigate possible means to involve localities and the city's state servants in short trainings in the Czech Republic.
After this, Mr Bakei was invited to the Czech Republic by Ivo Barek, a senate of parliament and chairperson of the Committee on Public Administration, Regional Development and the Environment.
