Constitutional reform - results of first year
Astana, 28 June 2008, Khabar - Third sitting of political club of inter party and public dialogue was held. The goal of the sitting is discussion and summing up results of first year of realization of Constitutional reform in Kazakhstan and elaboration of recommendations for activating of changes of Constitution.
The Parliamentarism Institute under "Nur Otan" party with
support of UN DP in Kazakhstan organized this sitting. The participants of
the meeting discussed issues of Constitutional reform connected with
strengthening of role of Parliament and political parties, consolidating of
judicial system and development of local self-governing. At the end of
meeting the participants formed the recommendations on political parties.
These recommendations will be sent to state structures that are interested
in it. (Khabar Agency)
