Czech engineer awarded Polar Star order

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ By a decree of the President, the state "Polar Star" Order has been bestowed upon a Czech engineer Vojimir Krauter. This is a recognition of his contribution to a discovery of mineral resources of the "Erdenet" Mining Corporation. The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Mongolia to the Czech Republic Mr Zumberellham Monday presented the state prize to Mr Krauter in Prague on occasion of the 35th anniversary of the "Erdenet" Mining Corporation and 50th anniversary of the Mongolia-Czech cooperation contract in the geological sector. After this, a vice president of this Corporation B.Namkhainyambuu presented the 35th jubilee medals of the Corporation to veteran geologists Vladimir Miklas, Bohumil Piha, Emanuel Kominek and to a director of the "Geomin" company Irji Sourek.
