Damascus welcomes ‘rational dialogue’ with opposition: Syrian ambassador

TEHRAN,Aug.14(MNA) – Syrian President Beshar al-Assad administration welcomes “rational dialogue” with the opposition groups, said during a conference on Syria in Tehran on Monday. Hassan said that Syria has cooperated to implement Kofi Annan’s plan but some countries spoiled the plan. Annan, the UN-Arab League joint special envoy on Syria, has put forward a six-point peace plan for ending the crisis in Syria, which calls for a UN-supervised ceasefire by all parties, the withdrawal of soldiers and heavy weapons from cities, and the delivery of humanitarian assistance.
