DEFENSE MINISTER RECEIVES GRATITUDE LETTER FROM RUSSIAN COUNTERPART

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The Defense Minister of Mongolia Ts.Tsolmon has received a letter from his Russian colleague Mr Sergei Shoigu. The latter thanks Tsolmon for taking part in the 4th Moscow International Security Conference which was held this April in Moscow and for participating in the parade for the 70th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War. Mr Shoigu writes his country is very grateful to Mongolia for contributing to the international conference, "You participation in the International conference has significantly contributed to the strengthening of the bilateral cooperation and mutual trust between the two military bodies." He also says that views and opinions of the highest command of the Mongolian military body are vital for the global and regional security issues, and notes that the two sides managed to design basic guidelines of their military-technical cooperation during the conference. Mr Shoigu expresses a readiness of Russia to cooperate with Mongolia in training our military staffers in Russia with non-refundable aid and discounted tuition fees. He also writes that Russia will regard the Mongolian Defense Ministry’s requests as a priority, and that his Ministry highly speaks the participation of the Mongolian troops in the grand parade. Then he underlines that Russia considers Mongolia as its tried and tested and reliable partner.
