DEPUTY PM RECEIVES TURKISH AMBASSADOR

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The Deputy Prime Minister U.Khurelsukh received the Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey to Mongolia Murat Karagoz on December 30. Mr Khurelsukh noted that a manifestation of the significance given by our Government to the relations with Turkey is that Mongolia defined Turkey as its "Third neighbor", as reflected in the Concept of Foreign Policy revised in 2011. He expressed a satisfaction with the "successful frameworks implemented in scope of the 45th anniversary of the diplomatic relations between Mongolia and Turkey that was marked in the passing year". "Mongolia is interested in developing ties with Turkey in all spheres, in particular in security, defense, law enforcing, and the collaboration in education is underway with much progress". An indication of such a progress is that some 900 Mongolian students study in Turkish universities on intergovernmental exchanges, private costs and NGO assistance, said the Deputy PM. The Ambassador Karagoz said the bilateral relations are showing progress in all sectors and expressed a willingness to share Turkey’s practices in emergency, standardization and measurement studies.
