DEPUTY PREMIER MEETS SEZIN SINANOGLU

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The Deputy Prime Minister U.Khurelsukh Tuesday received Ms Sezin Sinanoglu, the UN Resident Coordinator and UNDP Resident Representative in Mongolia. Expressing a satisfaction with an intensive development of the ties and cooperation between Mongolia and the UN, Mr Khurelsukh said an assistance and support from the UNDP have been significantly contributing to Mongolia’s development, helping Mongolia gain social-economic development goals. The UNDP also has contributed to the realization of many goals such as boosting a good governance, reducing poverty rate, saving an environment, backing sustainable development, and creating a developmental plan, he added. In response, Ms Sinanoglu thanked the Deputy PM for the audience and underlined an importance of the Mongolian government’s role in working out a new document called the UN developmental assistance framework and ensuring its preparation.
