Desecration Of Holy Shrine In Syria “Insult To All Muslims” : Indian Shia Scholar

New Delhi, May 6, IRNA – The incredible assault and desecration of the holy shrine in Syria by the western backed terrorists is an insult to all Muslims around the globe, said an eminent Shia religious scholar Maulana Syed Kalbe Jawwad Naqvi. The holy shrine of Hazrat Hujr Bin Uday Al-Kindi, the companion of Holy Prophet Mohammad (PBUH), near Damascus, was desecrated by western backed terrorists two-days ago. They not only destroyed the Hazrat Hujr’s shrine but also exhumed his body. In an exclusive interview with IRNA, Jawwad, the General Secretary of Majlis Ulema-e-Hind Sunday said: ˈThe inhuman act is the warning bell that these terrorists, if not punished, will not hesitate to destroy the holiest shrine of Holy Prophet Mohammad (PBUH).ˈ Condemning the ˈshameful and senselessˈ act of desecration, Jawwad said the destruction of Hazrat Hujr’s shrine is an open challenge not only to the dignity of the world Muslims, but mankind. ˈThe desecration is a part of conspiracies hatched by the international devils, the US and Israel against the Muslims world,ˈ noted Shia scholar. He further noted that these devil forces were extending unqualified support to the terrorists in the process of playing bloody holi in Syria. ˈAfter Afghanistan, Iraq, Libya and now in Syria the bloody war is on by these devil forces. They are eying on Iran also. In this chain, their last target would be Saudi Arabia,” added Naqvi. He added that the time has come that all peace loving people around the globe should come forward to stop these inhuman acts. Jawwad maintained that the holy shrines are the great assets as the history of the Muslims world is commensurate with them. He stressed that if we desire to thwart the conspiracies hatched by these international devils, all Muslim countries should stand committed against them. Shia scholar also urged the UN and other international bodies, working for the safeguard of religious freedom and humanity, to take the first initiative in this regard.
