Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ On Friday, first part of medical and diagnostic facilities were sent to centers of Sukhbaatar, Selenge, Khentii and Uvs aimags from the capitals city. Centers of 11 provinces are establishing diagnostic centers to be financed from the Prime Minister’s investment package. Money of MNT 25 billion and 977 million which is half of the PM’s package has been spent for the works of erecting diagnostic centers and repairing hospital buildings in these aimags. Apart of the above provinces, 240 units and 27 kinds of facilities will be given to Arkhangai, Bayan-Olgii, Bayankhongor, Dornogobi, Gobi-Altai, Zavkhan and Khovsgol aimags. Made in Japan, South Korea, France, Germany, Italy, China and Brazil, these facilities meet standards of the World Health Organization (WHO). People will be trained in the South Korea to operate some high-tech apparatuses, the product suppliers said. Installing diagnostic apparatuses in localities will help to bring the local medical service quality into a volume of the biggest hospitals, and it also will reduce the flow of countryside people to the city by 60 per cent. The cabinet for reforms has reported installation of medical and diagnostic facilities in the 11 provinces will be completed March of this year.
