Emergency Agency to cooperate with Chinese Ministry

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ A cooperation memorandum was signed between the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) of Mongolia and The Ministry of Civil Affairs of China, during the Premier N.Altanhuyag’s visit to the country on October 22-26. The memorandum ensures a favorable legal environment to broaden a cooperation between these institutions that might be in a form of staff training, experience sharing, and a joint survey on disasters matters. During the PM's visit, NEMA’s chief T.Dulamdorj met with Chinese Civil Affiars Minister Mr Li Liguo, and offered his condolences over devastating damages due to recent earthquake in Sichuan province and massive floods in South-western China.
