Envoy: Iran, Afghanistan cooperating in anti-terrorism campaign

Kermanshah, Dec 13, IRNA – Iran and Afghanistan are in good cooperation in anti-terrorism areas, the Afghan ambassador to Iran Nasir Ahmadnour stressed. Talking in a gathering on investment opportunities here in west of the country on Tuesday, he pointed to the exchange of visits and information between Iran and Afghanistan officials aimed at fighting terrorism. He said his country will seek more contribution from Iran if the need arises. The ambassador further said that Afghanistan needs assistance mostly in arms, equipment, information and education centers. Ahmadnour stressed that extremism, terrorism and Takfiri groups are the real dangers threatening all countries including Iran. He said the Afghan nation as well as its security forces is making sacrifices to defend not only their own country but protect its neighbors and the whole region from terrorists. 1378/IRNA
