Festival of French books takes place

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The Mongolia-France Friendship Society and the Mongolian National Library have co-organized a book festival dedicated to the 50th anniversary of the Mongolia-France diplomatic relations. It was reported by Mongolia’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Wednesday. In frames of the above action, the fair mounted some 250 French-language books about Mongolia collected by Mr Kh.Bekhbat, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Mongolia and head of the Mongolia-France Friendship Society; by T.Tomorkhuleg and D.Lhamsuren, senior diplomats and translators; and others. The fair also shown books by Alexandre Dumas and Jules Verne, dictionaries in French, historical science and linguistics works. At the event, the Vice Minister of Education, Culture and Science B.Tulga said the book festival will definitely contribute to the external relations of our National Library.
