FM: Iran-Europe Ties To Return To Previous Level

Tehran, Feb 21, IRNA – Foreign Minister Ali Akbar Salehi said Iran-Europe ties will certainly return to its previous level. Making the remarks in the opening ceremony of the two-day conference jointly sponsored by Iran and the Economic Cooperation Organization, he said these relations could not be suspended for a long time. He also said neither the European countries could claim they do not need Iran nor Iran could say it stands needless of Europe because the two sides are complementary to each other. Salehi said the ECO member states should try to beak the myth of big powers by enhancing regional cooperation./end
