Foreign Minister meets Ambassadors

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The Minister of Foreign Affairs L.Bold Tuesday received the Concurrent Non-Resident Ambassadors of Colombia and Brazil after they had presented diplomatic credentials to the State Head. The FM congratulated Mr Jaime Alberto Cabal Sanclemente on being appointed the Ambassador to Mongolia and on the 25th anniversary of the bilateral diplomatic relations occurred on August 10. Mr Bold noted that a visit of the Colombian Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs to Mongolia intensified the bilateral relations and cooperation, and underlined an importance of augmenting a frequency of mutual visits in order to strengthen a mutual understanding. In turn, Mr Sanclemente said the two countries have a big opportunity to forward the Mongolia-Colombia ties and to develop the mining and agricultural cooperation. He added that he will make efforts to create direct ties between businessmen and to support them. Congratulating Mr Valdemar Carneiro Leao Neto on becoming the Brazil's Ambassador to Mongolia, Mr Bold said Mongolia decided to open its Embassy in Brazil in order to activate the relations with Latin American countries. Mr Neto appreciated this decision and promised to do all his best to widen the bilateral relations and cooperation in agricultural sphere and to support the collaboration in sport and tourism sectors. The sides also touched upon issues of developing the mutually-beneficial cooperation in a scope of the multilateral cooperation and creating nice conditions for peoples visiting each other.
