Friday Prayer Leader Warns About Enemy's Decisive Plots

Tehran, Aug 25, IRNA – Enemies have decisive plots to divide the Muslim Ummah in order to deviate them from their real enemies including the Zionist regime, Tehran's Interim Friday Prayers Leader, Hojjat-ol-Islam Kazem Sedighi said here in the second sermon of his Friday speech. "Iran is not isolated at all and it is today a headquarter for the Muslims and all libration movements and freedom-seekers around the world; hosting the 16th Summit of the Non Aligned Movement (NAM) by Iran is an objective response to all those arrogant world powers that wish for IR of Iran's isolation." "Active participation of people on International Qods Day rallies would continue until the decline of the occupying usurper force of racist Zionist regime; arrogant powers have decisive plots against the Muslim Ummah in order to hide the Palestinian cause behind the internal sectarian violence in the Muslim world; the present developments in Syria is an example of such decisive plots; recent explosions in Iraq were plotted to affect the developments in Syria." The prominent clergy criticized the crackdowns on peaceful protesters on Qods Day in Bahrain. He warned some neighboring countries about their interference in Syria developments, noting that the unrest could spill over to their countries. The 16th NAM summit will be held in the Iranian capital, Tehran, from August 26 to 31. NAM comprises some 120 member states and 17 observer countries. NAM is an international organization of states considering themselves not formally aligned with or against any major power bloc. NAM is the largest grouping of countries outside of the United Nations./end
