Funeral procession held for pilots martyred in Iraq’s war against Iran

TEHRAN,Oct.28(MNA) – On Saturday, a funeral procession was held for a number of pilots who had been martyred during the Iraqi imposed war against Iran in the 1980s. The funeral was held at the headquarters of the Islamic Republic of Iran Air Force. A number of high-ranking officials attended the procession. Iraq on Wednesday handed over the remains of 17 martyrs to Iran. Seven of the martyrs were pilots.
