German FM: Nuclear Agreement In Sight

Berlin, Nov 9, IRNA – German Foreign Minister Guido Westerwelle said that Iran-5+1 Group talks have reached a very significant stage, and efforts are underway to reach an agreement in this respect. Talking to reporters Friday upon arrival in Geneva, he added, “We want to move towards a path to prepare the grounds for concluding a nuclear deal.” He also recalled that he has discussed achieving a common stance in a telephone conversation with US Secretary State John Kerry before leaving for Geneva. He further noted that he had discussed the issue with his European counterparts, Laurent Fabius and William Hague, French and British foreign ministers, earlier. It is predicted that the meeting to reach a nuclear agreement will be held tonight, following the arrival of foreign ministers of the countries involved in the talks./end
