Global situation shows Iran has gained the upper hand:Supreme Leader

TEHRAN,Nov.28(MNA) – Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei said that the situation in the world and the region shows that Iran has gained the upper hand in developments. Ayatollah Khamenei made the remarks during a meeting with a number of Navy officials in Tehran on Tuesday on the occasion of National Navy Day. He also said that the Islamic Republic’s policy on the Middle East has been more successful in achieving its goals than Western countries’ policy on the Middle East. “One of the reasons behind creating commotion against the Islamic Republic is the successes which have been achieved,” he stated. He went on t o say that Iran has the potential to achieve its sublime goals, adding that the country can make progress and remove all obstacles by God’s grace and through striving and promoting vitality. Elsewhere in his remarks, the Leader said, “If the government and officials have a strategic view on maritime areas and provide assistance, these vast and important areas can offer great potential for the Islamic Republic.”
