Government scores 5.99 out of 10 points

BANGKOK, March 19 (TNA) -- The Government of Gen Prayut Chan-ocha which has taken over the administrative power September 2014 has scored 5.99 out of 10 points in a recent survey conducted by Bangkok’s Kasetsart University. Paitoon Chetthamrongchai, director of Kasetsart University’s Department of Marketing, said the survey was conducted among 4,000 people, aged between 20-60, found that Prime Minister Gen Prayut ranked first, scoring 8.12. Deputy Prime Minister/Defence Minister Gen Prawit Wongsuwon came second with the score 8.07 points while another Deputy Prime Minister responsible for national economic affairs Somkid Jatusripitak came third with 8.01 points. Deputy Commerce Minister Suvit Maesincee scored lowest with 4.39 points. The respondents said they were most concerned with the prevailing drought problem while agriculturists cannot grow cashcrops. A total of 22.4 per cent of respondents agreed that the drought situation top their list of problems. 18.36 per cent of total respondents agreed that declining prices of agricultural products came second on the list and the sluggish of global economy ranked third with 16.71 per cent as it had negatively affected Thailand’s exports.
