Governor meets with Canadian Ambassador

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ A governor of Dornod province S.Ganbat Monday met with Mr Gregory Goldhawk, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Canada to Mongolia, in this aimag. The sides touched upon the issues of education, health and reform of civil service. The Ambassador talked about a project on civil service reform which will be run in near future by the Canada Fund. The sides also expressed satisfaction with a collaboration in projects being carried out by the above fund. After the meeting the Ambassador and the fund's delegates attended an opening of a local shelter for domestic violence victims. The fund has invested 8,823 USD to this centers' operations. It has been erected at 15 million togrog from the locality's Development Fund.
