Hanif Al Qasim praises initiatives of Mohammed bin Rashid to develop performance in local, international economic, social, humanitarian action

DUBAI, 13th July, 2017 (WAM) -- Dr. Hanif Al Qassim, Chairman of the Geneva Centre for Human Rights Advancement and Global Dialogue, has praised the initiatives of Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, and his desire to develop an exceptional level of practical performance in all areas of local and international economic, social and humanitarian action. He commended the vision of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid, which aims to achieve happiness by adopting alternative policies to provide quality services in a range of areas, as UAE institutions and authorities have become leading international models in operational performance. He highlighted the call of Sheikh Mohammed to various institutions to achieve the first position in their competition with their peers, through the quality of their performance and services. Dr. Al Qassim made his statement during his visit to the headquarters of the Federal Competitiveness and Statistics Authority, and his meeting with Abdullah Nasser Lootah, Director-General of the Authority. Al Qassim praised the vital role of the Authority in enabling the UAE to reach a prominent international position, as well as promoting the culture of human excellence in the UAE community, characterised by cultural diversity and the coexistence between over 200 nationalities living in the UAE. Al Qassim emphasised the importance of education in preparing future generations to continue the UAE community's journey, based on fundamental pillars that include the values of tolerance, cooperation and solidarity. During his presentation about the authority’s vision and programmes, Mr. Lootah stressed that the authority had launched a competitiveness initiative among government bodies in innovation, to create a sound environment based on unconventional working philosophies that reflect the wise leadership’s vision of shaping the future, through achieving the happiness of their employees.
