Health Ministry says no Ebola threat in Azerbaijan

Baku, October 22, AzerTAc Azerbaijan`s Health Ministry has said there is no Ebola threat in the country. Deputy Director of Anti-Plague Station under the Ministry Shair Gurbanov said: “However the threat can come to Azerbaijan from someone contracting the disease abroad. So we pay serious attention to this issue.” “All people entering Azerbaijan, particularly from African countries, are subject to medial checks at border checkpoints and the airport. They are also checked for 21 days at local clinics if they stay in the country.”
