Hegemons may be changing climate patterns in Iran: Iranian official

TEHRAN,July 17(MNA) - The hegemonistic powers may have been changing climate patterns in Iran through the use of technology, according to the director of Iran’s Cultural Heritage, Handicrafts and Tourism Organization. “I am suspicious about the drought in southern parts of the country. Colonialists and the global arrogance (forces of imperialism) could be affecting Iran’s climate through (the use of) technology. The meteorological organization should find the root of this evil because the extent of the drought in the country does not seem normal,” Hassan Mousavi said on Monday. “The issue of drought is an acute issue and soft warfare could be seen in this area,” he added.
