High prices more pressing than unemployment, Iranian MP Hadad-Adel says

TEHRAN, May 1 (MNA) – High inflation has become more problematic than unemployment and is now a great concern for parliament, said Iranian MP Gholam Ali Hadad-Adel. “Those who have jobs should be able to handle the cost of their living,” Hadad-Adel said on Monday. Hadad-Adel, who was the parliament speaker in the previous parliament, added that the Majlis is seriously pursuing the issue of high prices and is studying how to effectively implement the subsidy reform plan by consulting with ministers.
