IIDCYA to unfold “Mystery of Fort Kalat”

TEHRAN,Nov.13(MNA) -- The Khonya Theater Troupe plans to perform “Mystery of Fort Kalat” at the Institute for Intellectual Development of Children and Young Adults (IIDCYA) in Tehran next week. The play is a stage musical adaptation of a story from Ferdowsi’s epic masterpiece, the Shahnameh, the IIDCYA announced in a press release on Monday. The story is set in the Fort Kalat, the residence of Jarireh and Farud, Siavosh’s wife and son. The play has been written by Atosa Shamlu. Cast members include Mandana Abqari, Mohammad Nuhian, Ali-Asghar Alavinejad, Sepideh Darbandi, Herland Bigdeli and Matyam Raadpur. Roxana Abqari will direct the troupe.
