Imam Khomeini Philosophy, Key To Muslims' Success: Indian Scholar

New Delhi, June 2, IRNA – An Indian academician Saturday said that philosophy of late Imam Khomeini is key to success of Muslims around the globe. In an exclusive interview with IRNA, Professor Basir Ahmad Khan, former pro-vice chancellor of Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) in New Delhi said: “The legacy Imam Khomeini left behind, if followed properly, would pave way for the success of Muslim world”. Paying tribute to the Founder of the Islamic Republic of Iran, on his 24th death anniversary, he said the philosophy of the greatest leader of all time restored the lost dignity of Muslims around the globe. Basir, who is also the former head of the Department of Islamic Studies at Jamia Hamdard University, said that the Islamic Republic of Iran is moving on its own pace and developing in every field despite facing the stern opposition, accusations and sanctions by world powers. The Islamic Republic of Iran has achieved an influential place among world countries, thanks to the late Imam Khomeini philosophy, he noted.
