Impeachment of agriculture minister canceled: Iranian Majlis speaker

TEHRAN,Oct.23(MNA) – Iranian Majlis Speaker Ali Larijani announced on Monday that the impeachment of Agriculture Minister Sadeq Khalilian had been cancelled. The impeachment motion against Khalilian had been signed by 39 MPs. Larijani said that during a meeting between Khalilian and the MPs who had signed the motion, it was agreed that the impeachment would not be carried out and the minister promised to resolve the problems of the country’s farmers and livestock breeders.
