India attaches high significance to relations with Iran: Indian envoy

TEHRAN,Aug.16(MNA) – Indian Ambassador to Tehran D. P. Srivastava said that his country attaches high importance to relations with Iran. Speaking to reporters on the sidelines of a ceremony marking India’s Independence Day on Wednesday, Srivastava commented on Tehran-New Delhi ties and said that Prime Minister Manmohan Singh plans to participate in the XVI Summit of the Non-Aligned Movement (NAM), which is scheduled to be held in Tehran from August 26 to 31.
